AM3 brings together hundreds of people for sports activities

On 26 October, Aerodrome No. 3 (AM3) hosted the AM3 Sports Activities, which brought together around 300 participants on Porto Santo beach, in the Madeira Archipelago.

On this day marked by energy, competitive spirit and contagious joy, participants were challenged to overcome an obstacle course designed for the event, in a competition that provided moments of fun and personal achievement in a setting of rare natural beauty.

The event stood out for its atmosphere of conviviality, fair play and cohesion, strengthening ties between military personnel, civilians and the local community, and promoting the values of discipline, camaraderie and mission spirit that characterise the Air Force.

The initiative was supported by military personnel from the Physical Education and Sports Department of the Air Force Training Directorate and the Air Force Social Action Service.

The AM3 Sports Activities thus reinforced the presence and prestige of the Air Force in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, highlighting the dynamism and organisational capacity of the Air Force in staging events that combine sport, institutional celebration and community connection.

This activity is part of the celebrations of the 73rd anniversary of the Air Force.
