Mission

Its mission is to ensure the readiness of Air Units and the logistic and administrative support of other units and services, albeit with independent command, as well as the internal security and immediate defense of its facilities.

Responsibilities

a) Plan, direct and control the activity of the means assigned to it;

b) Ensure the readiness of Air Units assigned or to be assigned in reinforcement;

c) It grants logistic and administrative support to all the units and services within its premises, even those depending from other commanding organs; 

d) Ensure the operation of aerodrome services;

e) Guarantee military security and immediate defense of the area where it is located and other points under its jurisdiction.
