Yesterday morning, 3 December, the Air Force Recruitment Centre (CRFA) Unity Day Ceremony was held in Lumiar.
During the ceremony, presided over by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Matos Branco, the Head of the CRFA, Colonel Sónia Figueira, gave a speech, and the Unit Standard Bearer was presented.
The ceremony continued with a tribute to those who had contributed to the unit's success and had since passed away, and with the presentation of decorations to those who had distinguished themselves throughout the year.
Created in 1964, the CRFA's mission is to carry out operations to promote and recruit citizens for voluntary military service in its various forms and to provide administrative and social support to military personnel who are not on active duty.
