Q: Do I need to register? What is the price?

A: Admission is free and not subject to registration.

 

Q: How will the parking lots work?

A: In addition to the parking lots inside the Base, the Ovibeja parking lot located in the city of Beja dedicated to the event will be available, with buses to transport visitors to the Base. Access to these lots will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Q: Do I need to register if I park outside the Unit?

A: You don't need to register to park outside the Unit. Parking in these lots is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

Q: Do I have to register to use the buses?

A: No. They are free to use and on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Q: I won't be using my own car to get to Beja, nor will I be using any parking lots. Can I use the available buses?

A: Yes, there will be buses at the Ovibeja park to take visitors to the Base. Access will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Q: How can I get to Air Base 11?

A: Through the Main Access Control Station (see map), (coordinate 38.07066580353771, -7.913470376074589), on foot/motorized/by bicycle;

 

Q: Is there a place dedicated to spotters?

A: The Beja Air Show is an opportunity for everyone in general to enjoy and capture the best moments, so there will be no specific places for spotters.

 

Q: How can I register for Flight Baptisms?

A: Flight baptisms will be raffled in contests promoted before the event. You'll also have the chance to get a place on site (only for the first ones to sign up).

 

Q: Is the program for day 1 and day 2 different?

A: No, the program will be the same for both days.

 

Q: Are day 1 and day 2 open to the general public?

A: Yes, both days will be open to the general public.

More useful information:

  • Bearing in mind the sun and the hot temperatures, it is advisable to wear adequate protection (sunscreen, hat, ...)
  • Minors should always be accompanied by adults;
  • Pets not allowed (except assistance animals);
  • You can bring a backpack with essentials;
  • It is not possible to light fires on site;
