On Thursday, October 13, the Closing Ceremony of the 58th Military World Cross Country was held, presided over by the Personnel Commander, Lieutenant General Eurico Craveiro.
58th CISM WMC Cross Country
The 58th World Military Cross-Country Championship 2022 is hosted by the Portuguese Air Force and the Physical Education and Military Sports Commission of the Directorate-General for National Defense Resources of the Ministry of National Defense, between 10 and 14 October at Air Base No. 11, in Beja. This event is organized under the aegis of the International Council of Military Sports (CISM), which is responsible for promoting the holding of military sports competitions between its member countries.

The 58th Military World Cross Country, this year hosted by the Portuguese Air Force in partnership with the Physical Education and Military Sports Commission of the Directorate-General for National Defense Resources, takes place at Beja Air Base in October 10th to 14th.
International Military Sports Council (CISM)
CISM was born on February 18, 1948 and currently has 140 member countries, including Portugal, which joined this council in 1956. Its main objective is to contribute to the world effort in favor of peace, under the motto "Friendship through Sport".
