The main objective of this type of mission is to execute evasive manoeuvres against fighter aircraft, in which the tactical transports attempt to evade the F-16Ms and avoid being locked on and designated as targets by the missiles of those aircraft.
All the air assets present in ETAP-C took part in this mission type: one KC-390, one CN235, two A-400M and three C-130s, to which two F-16Ms were added, contributing to a more complete and demanding training, which reinforces interoperability among the participating nations.
ETAP-C runs until tomorrow, 31 October, at Air Base No. 11 in Beja, where more than 400 service-personnel from seven different countries are training with the aim of improving air-transport operational capability and promoting greater interoperability among the nations.
